This is a simple yet conservative strategy (to a point).
The minimum bankroll required is $100
The idea of this strategy is to cover every number on the roulette table except 3 numbers that will be left out. Doing so on a european single zero table will ensure a profit on any win. Since there is so much symmetry on the roulette table, there are many different ways we can make this bet. Some methods are easier than others, the method you choose will depend on the rules of the casino you are gambling in.
Method 1
- Place $9 on low (1-18)
- Place $6 on the third dozen (25 – 36)
- Place $2 on the 19-23 corner bet (19,20,22,23)
As you can see, with this system, a win on any of the bets will return $18. As we have put on $17 this gives us a $1 profit. Therefore we will make $1 profit on every number except 21,24 and zero. If any of those three numbers come out we will lose $17.
Playing this strategy as outlined above is not a good money making strategy as we will only win $1 per session.
To improve this strategy, increase all bets by a scalar multiplier. For example if you wanted to win $2 per session, multiply all the above bets by 2. (I play to win $2 per session and have had pretty good success!)
The problem with the above system is that some casinos have a $5 minimum on inside bets. Even when we are betting to win $2, we only have $4 on inside bets. To fix this problem we can use one of the next two methods which do exactly the same thing as above, but use different bets.
Method 2
- Place $12 on the first dozen (1 – 12)
- Place $12 on the third dozen (25 – 36)
- Place $6 on the 13-18 line (13,14,15,16,17,18)
- Place $1 each on numbers 19, 20, 22 and 23
Again with this system you will win $2 on every number except 21, 24 and zero. The inside bet is now $10 and so gets around the $5 minimum imposed by some casinos.
Method 3
- Place $2 on every number except 21,24 and zero
This is a silly way to play roulette as it would take a large amount of time just to place one bet! I just put it here to show that there are many ways of making the same bet. The advantage of this method is that it is very easy to change the three numbers that are not covered (it doesn’t have to be 21,24 and zero).
